Why CPRI Exists?
Cold immersion is rapidly emerging as one of the most impactful metabolic and neurological interventions of our time.
The Cold Plunge Research Institute (CPRI) was created to bring together the researchers, clinicians, engineers, and innovators who are committed to advancing the evidence, refining protocols, and elevating the scientific conversation around cold therapy.
The CPRI Symposium is where this movement gathers each year to build the future of cold-therapy research.
Watch Thomas Seager, PhD explain why this event is so important.
What?
The 3rd Annual CPRI Symposium is a two-day scientific meeting featuring CPRI Founder, Thomas P. Seager, PhD, and Oksana Hansen, CEO of Quantum Lens Wellness, along with clinicians, researchers, engineers, and practitioners advancing cold-therapy science.
The event is structured around keynote presentations, focused workshop sessions, and collaborative roundtable discussions. Participants will examine how cold plunge therapy is being integrated across clinical, athletic, metabolic, and high-performance environments.
Participants can expect to:
- Engage with leading scientists, clinicians, and practitioners presenting emerging research
- Review clinical case studies and real-world applications
- Participate in breakout roundtables focused on protocols, dosing strategies, and clinical implementation
- Explore innovations in the vendor and technology hall
- Experience optional cold plunge sessions
- Connect with colleagues applying cold immersion in medicine, athletics, military, first-responder, and performance settings
